EAT NYC Present: Hip Hop For Hunger Featuring Melle Mel and Grandmaster Caz
Finally! I have returned to the Bronx. I can smell the Bronx!! It smell like beautiful brick, concrete, and fresh graffiti paint. Although, it has lost much of it’s character, the Bronx will always be my first home. I was overwhelmed when I heard EAT NYC was holding an event in the Bronx. I went crazy looking for my boom box, however sadly it was long gone. Sigh.. So I picked up my camera instead.
To highlight the history of the Boogie down, the EAT NYC recruited two Hip Hop Legends. Melle Mel and Grandmaster Caz helped get the party started right. Then, the party got hot as the models came out to vogue the night cold away. There were many top designers there such as Avalbylava and others. Check out the EAT NYC Food and Winefest website to learned more about the event and provide your support. Also, visit Windows of Hip Hop and lend your support for the Hungary. Finally make sure you subscribe to The Alchemist Magazine published by the Co-founder of EatNYC, Executive Chef John Denizard
